I had purchased your product because I needed something with a login that would not allow only members to view other members. I found out shortly after that that is not the case. That anyone at anytime can see who are the members. Since I see you guys state you take "take privacy seriously", I was wonder if that was something that was fixed in version 4.

Also there was no way to make everyone friends initially upon sign up while reserving the ability to unfriend at a later time, is that still the case?

Have you guys done anything that might help someone who was interested in using it to create a dating site?

Hi Jeff,

if you set the default stream to members only then set the default Jomsocial privacy to members only, only site members can view the site. It has always been like that and still is. You can test everything before you purchase at demo.jomsocial.com . You can and have always been able to check all the features on our demo site before purchase.

Auto friend is not an option in our product and would need to be custom developed by a 3rd party for your site.

I am not sure how long ago you used Jomsocial but regarding a dating site i am not aware of any specific things that have been added to improve it's functionality if used as a dating site.

So this is Jomsocial's idea of how to "take privacy seriously" huh?
