Although I have experience in Joomla, I have never worked with JomSocial or any other social network modules. My question is basically, once JomSocial is installed (and perhaps Tigra as well) would these modules prohibit me in anyway of creating other pages on the site outside of the JomSocial platform? (such as store fronts, blogs, etc..).
Jomsocial installs as a standard Joomla extension and users the core joomla login, so all your Joomla members are Jomsocial site members. You can continue to develop your site with any Joomla components you wish.
