I'm currently developing a web site for an organization, using Joomla, and I want a feature where members can post upcoming events and I found your solution to be possibly a workable option. I had one question, however, if we implement your solution, and a member post an event, is it only available for members or the public? Or can it be available for both?
Jomsocial has site events and group events. In site events you can make the Event public, private, hidden in group events it follows the privacy of the group. so if it's a private group then the event will be as well
