I'd like to create a social networking site, but dint want the profile to look anything like facebook. Is it possible to change the layout of user pages so that it doesn't look like a FB copy?

I need he functionality of the jomsocial software. Do I have to download joomla since I only want the social networking aspect?

Hi Alexis,

#1 you can change the template, there is lot of 3rd party template can you use, so it wont look like FB copy :) eg. you can use JF Social template themeforest.net/item/jf-social-joomla-jo...ena-template/3377821

#2 Jomsocial is under Joomla component, so you need to download and install Joomla first.

thank you
