I have a simple question about video. In JomSocial you can import videos from the video providers . Why is it not posible to import with an extern link my own video share server. For example HWD media share. How is that in JomSocial 4? In the feature page I see information about "Let your members upload videos or embed them from YouTube, Vimeo or other hosts." What do you mean with other hosts? Do you mean other video providers or is it possible to use another URL from another video share server?

Hello Vincent

It is always possible to import video from any provider but you need to write your own script to do it.
It is impossible for us to know your site link structure and make the script to fetch video data from your site.
Bottom line, it is possible to do it, but you need to hire professional developer to custom code it for you.

Other hosts are other well known video providers, not a random links on random sites.
