I'm interested in your platform and have a few questions before purchasing.

We wish to develop a social website, similar to facebook in its visual familiarity and usage.
We need detailed user profile pages same as in your demo and extensive group management and privacy options. Group members and activity should be visible only to users registered as group members. Users can start a new group to support someone for instance and the system will send notifications to relevant users (same as target marketing).

Do you supply photo, video, messaging, blog, chat and other modules featured in your demo or do I need to purchase these modules separately. What other modules or components apart from a template do I need to purchase in addition to your platform?

I'm not a programmer and am just learning the basics of joomla. Can your tutorials and documentation guide me step by step to creating a platform for users to open and manage their profiles and engage in group interactions such as chat, conversations, wall posts with pictures, videos and so on?

Finally, when will the jomsocial 4 be released? I'm really eager to start but should I wait for v.4? I saw in your webinar that in this version you solved some group privacy issues that are very important to me.

Jomsocial 4 will be released today if everything goes to plan. :) You can see it running now on our own community. As for modules and plugins there are a lot that can be purchased but with the new jomsocial 4 a lot of add on developers will need to bring their components / templates up to date to make them compatible with the new version. In some cases this can take them some time,others do it very fast. Take a look at what is available here www.jomsocial.com/addons

groups, events, photos, videos is part of Jomsocial 4 but chat is a separate add on there are a few available in the add on directory. Once you purchase you will also get access to our videos showing how to uses Jomsocial. But they are still for jomsocial 3. There is going to be some transition with things at this point in time.
