We want to change “events”, into articles. Because our goal with this site is posting and sharing articles with selected members of our community.
If so, for creating an event/article we would like to adjust the following options:
• Delete the option event/article as private
• The option category should stay and we would like to change that ourselves
• We don’t need a location
• No starttime and endtime
• No number of seats and the option to invite guests
- The options when an article is created should be: All articles : my articles : Earlier posted articles : search
- The event calendar can also be deleted.
- The option Video cam be removed too

Why don't you just disable Events in JomSocial and simply start using Joomla! articles?
if you want to share some articles with certain JomSocial/Joomla! users then use Joomla! groups and assign users to them, then Joomla! article could be assigned to certain group.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
