My matrimonial site in "php", want to migrate to jomsocial
My question is- "Can I have matrimonial or dating site" in jomsocial?
Can members interact with each other ?
Can they upload their profile in standard formats?
Can they remain member after their status changes from "unmarried" to "married"
Can other people join as members just for other reasons & for not searching life-partner
1. The dating search module does not have AGE field, that worries me most
2. Migration of existing data from php to joomla 3, is second worry
There are a lot of dating sites build with JomSocial :)
1. Yes, members could post activities, do comments, post photos, videos, join groups, events, posts in discussions, like comments and any other objects, become friends, like profiles.
2. NO, there is no possibility to UPLOAD profile. But you could create profile form. Then you could use custom migratory (need to be build separately)
3. That is up to you - you could create such a field and filter all users with certain value in that field.
4. Sure thig, it's again up to you who could register ion your site.
6. Well, then you'll need to hire good developer to do this for you... we do not migrate installations for users.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
