im a bit confused
i bought jomsocial 14/05/14 and i thought once i bought it i had bought it.
the subscriptions are for upgrades and support

can i not continue to use my version after my 6 months are up?

Hi, Mike.

Yes, you can continue using JomSocial on any domain you have. One you bought it you have it forever :)
Only limitation is access to support. After you bought JomSocial you have access to support forum and to updates for 6 months.
After subscription expiration your access is locked but you can still use JomSocial without any limitation in extension (no feature is locked).

If you decide you want to upgrade to latest stable version - just renew subscription. You can do it at any moment that suits you.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

i have lost the install file from the version i have bought and i need to download it ..
i should be able to re download the old version i bought but i dont seem to

NO, in www.jomsocial.com/component/digistore/licenses you'll not see option to download JomSocial after your subscription expired. It's because always latest version is available to download - not the one you currently downloaded after you purchased JomSocial on beginning of your subscription.

What version did you have?

the one that i downloaded when i bought it on the 14th may 2014
im not 100% sure of the full version number
i thought i had the file on my computer but when i searched for it i've not got it
