1. Yes, files can be shared in discussions and announcements in groups. If you'll need more refined application you could always use 3rd party extensions like jDownloads or DocMan.
2. JomSocial doesn't have blog. You'll need to use built-in Joomla! article system to have a blog or use 3rd party extension like EasyBlog. Easy blog have direct integration with JomSocial.
3. We're planning to release final stable release for 3.2 series (3.2.1.6) in next moth. After that JomSocial 4.0 alpha will be released around March - April. Your subscription is valid for 6 moths. During that time you'll have free access to any updates and patches. After that time you'll have to renew your subscription. So if your subscription expires and next day we release new version - you'll need to renew to download it.
4. JomSocial invite friends feature allows you to invite anyone using his/her email. If you'll need more sophisticated tool then you could use 3rd party extension like Invitex.
5. JomSocial and Socialize template are extension and template for Joomla! They could work along with any other extension for Joomla! Sometimes (depending on extension) there are js script conflicts but in cases like that you report it to respective developer and usually they are solved... or you may replace trouble making extension - there dozens of them in JED.

I'm not sure what you mean. Only when you hold JomSocial PRO branding is removed. You can remove Joomla! branding whenever you want.
Only discounts are for renewals and bundles (e.g JomSocial + Socialize).
