I am currently using Jomsocial and I am pleased so far. I want to give my registered users the feel of having control over their profile pages by giving it the look that they want. One way is to have them have personal themes or wallpapers for their wall. Is there an extension that I can use or would I have to hire a developer to create for me?

extensions.joomla.org/extension/profile-designer-for-jomsocial
but its for old versions of jomsocial. i do t think it will work with modern 3.x and specially not with 4.0 that will soon be released, but you can hire the dev to modify it.

Thank you for responding. I just looked at it and it is perfect for my site for right now. The problem is that when I tried to upload the zip file, it is telling me that;

JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file

What does that mean?

Like i said, the plugin might be exactly what you need, but its made for OLD jomsocial, and most likely older Joomla.
You should ask the developer is it updated to support latest JomSocial and latest joomla

When I checked it, it said that it was compatible with joomla 3.x. But I will take your advise and speak with the developer.
