Are you able to customize an existing social network?
We have one done in Joomla and would like to use your platform - but keeping our current content that is specialized.
What are the options for us?
1. Are you able to make the content customization for us?
2. Or can we buy your software and customize it (with our content) on our end?

Jomsocial is a standard Joomla component so it gets installed on Joomla then users the current user tables and users all your site content will remain the same then you can add extensions that also integrate with Jomsocial. Have a look at our demo here demo.jomsocial.com

Sorry auto correct made some changes to that and i didn't re-read it :)

if you have a Joomla web site, Jomsocial will install in Joomla as a standard component
Jomsocial doesn't have it's own user tables, it uses the existing Joomla ones. This means that when you install Jomsocial on Joomla all the Joomla users on your site will become Jomsocial users. Other Joomla site content will remain as it currently is.
If you are using Community builder they use their own user tables, Jomsocial would not pick up those users
