I am wondering if it is possible to run Jomsocial as part of our current page...so that the user could switch between our primary joomla page and the jomsocial page...using the same login...database etc...

Thoughts?

Hi Michael,

If you install JomSocial as an extension of your current Joomla! site you will not have any problem with user accounts. All your current users will be able to access.

Best regards,

When working in the backend...where is the traditional joomla backend components? It seems JomSocial seizes control of Joomla...is this true?

Hi Michael,

Our extension doesn't take control of Joomla!; as I told you in my previous message it's just an extension compatible with Joomla!. You can see it in action on our demo site. I suggest you to login on backend to see how it looks.

demo.jomsocial.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_community
