I'm looking at Jomsocial for our company intranet. We have about 150 employees and we are always forming groups for continues improvement. I have been looking at jomsocial as a way for the groups to collaborate. I have a questions. Will members of a group receive feeds when something new is posted?

Jomsocial works similar to Facebook, when a post is made on the wall of a group it will send out notification based on the user preferences and how admin has set up the options. By default it will do this unless you set it otherwise. Have a look at demo.jomsocial.com and in particular in admin the user points settings, disabling user points for group postings would stop notifications as well, this is how you can turn on and off what you want sent to the user at a global level and then the user can also turn on and off there own notifications.
