Hi there,

can jomsocial have follow function? where instead of adding people as friends, they can also follow them

also can people earn points by following people instead aside from adding and inviting friends.

also does it have a function to not allowed all user to create groups, only admin can create a groups.

and also on the group page, does it allow only the group admin to post messages ( then other members are only allowed to post comments on whatever the group admin posted)

Does it also have a function where the website administrator can post announcement so that everyone who is a member of the social network can read it via there timeline? and also option for the site admin to send everyone an inbox message?

Thanks and Regards,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Jomsocial doesn't have the follow function.

You can set Jomsocial so that users cannot create groups but once a member is in the group then they can post the same as admin

Yes Jomsocial does have global announcements from the status box
