I'm a webmaster for a website that uses Jomsocial for part of its content. the original designer/webmaster had the subscription under his business name originally, now that I've taken over I need to renew the subscription.

once I've purchased it, how do i make sure the access to updates is enabled for the website?
I'm quite new to Joomla and joomsocial, and we're in the process of updating from Joomla 2.5 to Joomla 3.0

you may not physically be able to access the site right now, we're experiencing some script issues due to needing to update to Joomla 3.0

updating our subscription to Jomsocial in preparation for the update is one of the steps.

We cannot change account information unless the request comes from the account the changes need to be made to. Once you renew or subscribe then we can change the supported domain to the site you choose.

It is no problems to make the changes but we need to protect our customer accounts which is why we enforce this
