I wish to create a website based on a community to share the problems on the road. Like Waze but just for a local use.
Is Jomsocial good for that ? I think it's a very good tools to create the community. I already use CommunityBuilder but I think that Jomsocial is better for what I want. But I wish to be sure before to buy it. And I'm a little left between all addons. Can you help me to choose ?
I wish a map where the members can localise events on the road. To do that, I wish to create a form with customised fields (each field should be a list of choice) edpending of the category of events. For each category, I wish to create my own icon. When event is posted, the others members could confirm it. Or notify it as finished. Or as fake.
When the event is posted, it's notified at the others members.
I wish that members can choose to receive all notifications (events or post on the wall) or only the roads events.
Before to post a new event, the member sees the map and if this already exists. Then he can "like" it to confirm it rather than post a new.
The members can see their friends on the map and choose to display the map only with the events on the road or with their friends.
I wish that members can choose the category to display on the map

I seen that an app exist for smartphone. I wish to work with it. Perhaps in a second time if the website is Responsive and can be used on smartphone.

I red the features of all the addons. And I don't know wich is the better ...HelloMpas ? Geommunity ? Hotspots pro ? My Maps location ? ... I cannot buy all add-ons to test them ...

Please, can you help me to choose ?

Thanks for contacting us, from what your are describing i think the best option for yuo would be to talk with a developer. Im not aware of any addons that are going to give you the functionality you are looking for and the events system / forms /fields in Jomsocial will not achieve 100% of your requirements www.jomsocial.com/jomsocial-developers
