I'd like to integrate Joomsocial in a website built as a community of shopkeepers.
I would like to set up each shopkeeper as member, and set up all the customers and site visitors as friends.
The reason of that is I would like that the shopkeepers can be free to post whatever about their business (special offers, new products etc.), and the customers should only comment (as friends), like or share the post.
My purpose is to avoid that anyone could post whatever, filling with non-relevant arguments.
Summing up my need is: users should only be friends; they are not supposed to post anytihing on Joomsocial other that comments and likes (possibly with their Fbook account) of the shopkeepers posts.
On the other hand the shopkeepers should be allowed to post anything with their account eventually created on purpose on the very first time installation.
This will not be possible without custom development The way the friends system works is users must add a friend and the friend must approve it so if you are wanting to be able to link users together without this first process then you would need to modify the code
The other point is once a user is a registered member of the site then there is no way to limit what they post including groups unless the group is private and they have been added to it. You can try thses things at
