I already have an older version of Jomsocial (2.4.3) running on my test page.

To that times it was not possible to create a splittet login for users as different user types.
So for example as a teacher and as a student.
Is it changes now, or is it still impossible?
I would like to ask two groups of people different questions for there profile pages.
After they login with their created profiles, they should have automatically different rights.
Is that manageable just with your core component, or do I still have to buy for extra money an extension like JSPT?
I mean I had buy two times , I need to update twice, I have headache twice of errors in both components, I have the cost of updating it twice any half of the year.
So if that should still not be possible, you waste your possibilities with jomsocial or you have a jointventure in making money with Readybytes. Both ways not good for thes user.
So if you do not offer that functionality please work on it.
Would be a great benefit for your component.

I would also like to use the profile page to focus more on the information of the single user given on the questions he have to answer with registration process.
For me it´s important to have a kind of a business card profile appearence.
So is it possible to move that informations optical togehter?:
A) picture of person
B) information of that person
C) may a link to a video of the company
Do I need a additional template for that goal, or can I use positions in your standard template?.
Can I use my default template?
That would be great!

I know Jomsocial is a mighty tool, but I don´t need a lot of social gadges for my page.
For that reason is it possible, to switch of any of your functionality to a minimum if neccessary?
For excample, I don´t think I will need a Photogallery (may for paying members), to make friend functionality, the manually make group creations of users, I don´t want the users to post something.
Can I switch all of it just off?
I mean in evolution of my page I wil maybe offer some of these functionality to a special user group,
but I would like to have the control what make sense for me and what is just to messy for me.
1. Jomsocial has multi profiles that allow you to ask different questions to different user at registration but that is the only additional feature once registered then there is no additional functionality for profile types, we do not have any commercial agreement with 3rd party profile type providers but they do offer some very good additional features

anything other that what you see when clicking the about me link in a profile would need to be custom development
3. Other than turning off menu items photo albums and other core functionality cannot be switched on or off by default, this would also need custom development
