I have have a had a couple of subscriptions for my sites, but have not renewed in a year or so. I have two dormant sites that I am still trying to figure out what to do with them.
However, it looks like 1 of them was hacked, even with captchas. There are URLs getting inserted somewhere in jomsocial, but I cannot find any new users or content to delete. I remember an email several months back that you guys were offering a free upgrade/patch, due to a security vunerabiltiy. I cannot remember the specifics, aside from remembering that I chose to ignore it.
Where can I find that security patch? I don't want to upgrade, until I figure out what to do with the site.
Here is the link to the free patch, it was a patch to close a hole, I would recommend you apply the patch but if there are signs of a hack it may be from this or many other reasons, Is your Joomla also up to date? Joomla 2.5.19 also had some security issues that required urgent patches
