I'm wanting to renew my purchase of Jomsocial and get myself j3 compatible
However I'm wanting to go with a social extension that can most easily implement the BitID authentication .... because I'm wanting to stir my site away from "Sign in with Facebook" and start getting people to "Sign in with Bitcoin"

Unfortunately I'm not skilled enough to make this function on my own, but I am very much interested in getting a site running jomsocial with this type of authentication, and would be willing to pay for the custom service if not easily implemented in the core product, assuming the cost is with in reason.

This sounds like a great thing to have in jomsocial but unfortunatey with the current development work we have planned this is not something we would be able to assist with. The best way to see what would be possible is it talk with a 3rd party developer.
