Hi! I want to make a community where musicians can find other musicians and people searching for a particular musician/instrumentalist can find them too. Is it possible to customize Jomsocial so as someone can register, create a profile and upload videos of their work and it can be displayed like a page or something… Then if a person is searching for a guitar player for example, can search and view their page and see their details, videos, contacts etc. ? I am very knowledgeable in web development and Joomla and I just want to get an idea if this kind of thing can be possible with Jomsocial. Thanks
Yes, exactly. You create a registration form so you can set a list of musicians, then user during registration can choose option from list that fits to them. Then they could be found in community when search by that field is performed.
Each user has own profile and is able to upload photos to own albums. The same goes for videos.
