Interested in using Instant Jomsocial, but a few questions:

1. Are we able to install components/modules, change templates, etc., like a normal Joomla site?

2. If the answer to #1 is "yes," then what module positions are available?

3. Can we export it to our own server at some point, if we desire? And, if so, how does it work in terms of accessing upgrades?

Hi Tony,

The instant service is changing in the next few weeks, once the change takes place you will not be able to add or remove anything in the service other than changing basic settings that are available with administrator rights (not superadmin) This means that sites cannot be copied or transferred out of the service.

All updates are done automatically by the system as new versions become available.
