Hi... I just ran into your website through a link in Google and I am very interested in your software.

From what I can tell, this is a Social Networking application that can be installed on my web server and used for a specifically targeted audience. I don't know much about software and hosting and the likes, so pleas explain if this is possible for me.

I currently heading the development of a website for motorcycle enthusiasts and support many different brands, What my principal is asking me to do is have an internal "Facebook" like social media tool within the website. The development of the website is ongoing and is being developed using PHP and MySQL. Can I use JomSocial as well and have it on the same domain? The key here would to collect data from the different users and profile all users within the database.

I guess we can start here but I do have a lot of questions and am willing to spend on the software just to try it out.

What you are wanting to do is exactly what Jomsocial is. it installs as a component on Joomla and lets you run your own specific private network. The best place to start is by visiting http;//demo.jomsocial.com and try out what it can do, if you have specific questions them please reply and i can answer them for you.

Thank you very much for your response. I have gone through the demo and like it very much. Just to give you a better idea, this will go into a motorcycle website where users will be able to have "virtual garages" along with their profile.

I would very much like to escalate this to pre-sales so I can begin a correspondence and include my principal. However, just to get started, I am not currently using Joomla. Can I still use JomSocial? I can install Joomla on the back-end but it will not support anything but the JomSocial Platform.

Whom may I email on a more formal platform to begin all my queries. I would like to get started right away.

Okay... Here we go: I am ready to purchase the JomSocial application. I already have a webhost ready. Are there any problems with running this on iPage? Also, should I buy the Professional solution first and upgrade later on or should I go with the full-blown Supercharged version right from the start? Also, I would like your team to install the software for me on the webhost.

Can you customize the titles interface for me? Simple things like instead of "Photo Album", we would name this "Garage". As you know, I am going to try and build a Facebook for motorcycle riders and enthusiasts. Kindly let me know and we can move forward from there.

Installation is not a service we offer i am sorry. If you purchase jomsocial all installation and configuration needs to be done by yourself. We are happy to answer any setup questions you have and give full support for our product but things like title changes are all done using language file overrides and this is a Joomla method to change text in the site, even thought is is text in Jomsocial. Customization's are not covered by support

If you are wanting the Joomla site template socialize then the supercharged package is much better value than if you purchase separate. We cant really comment on hosting companies as there are so many of them out there and they are all different. most hosting plans should be able to run Jomsocial as it is a standard Joomla component.
