1. Once the newsfeeds is given for registered user, and say they copy and paste a link from a website , and put it in the newssfeed, willl the url page that they put in, the picture be given from that site page? In other words, just like fb, when you put in another website into the newsfeeds and before pressing submit, it finds the URL and finds the picture on that particular page with some narration!
I hope it wont be the case where you enter a URL and the link is only shown, and no picture or narration is given from the chosen site you want to publish.
2. Email Notifications : If you becomes friends or get an invite from a friend, there will be notifications. Can the persons profile picture be also given in the notification alongside the his or her title , company and country?
3. Once a full profile is created for a person, showing their education , experience and other information. If they wish to 'edit' their profile for these sections, for example for work experience or education, for dates... Does the platform allow for a calender date to pop out to allow users to enter their start and end dates?
4. If you have following 4 boxes on your home page, ie
"People You May Know"
"New Members"
"Groups You May Like"
on the right hand side of your module positions on the page. When you see 4 items in the above boxes, and there is a button which says "See More" , will a new page be given which will list out "People You May Know"?
Same for "New Members?"
Same for "Groups You May Like?"
Please advise?
5. We are having a "Muslim prayer time" put time put in. This is joomla plug in. Will this pick up for cities around the world? Please confirm?
1. Url fetching works the same as Facebook. It loads the site preview and thumbnail.
2. Email notifications don't send the profile picture or other fields this would need custom coding by your own developer
3. You can use date picker or time as the field types in custom profile t\types and the user can edit this information in their profile
4. We currently don't have the option to follow people it is only a friends system
5. Integrating between a joomla plugin and jomsocial fields would need to be done by a 3rd party developer
