Im currently using jomsocial 2.8.4.2 and am likely gonna use the Socialize template.

Am I able to install as the demo shows for Socialize and will I be able to import the users I currently have on my site?

Ill be using the latest joomla, jomsocial and socialize. Will there be anything else I need to have my site working as the Socialize Demo.

Also, How easy is the socialize demo to setup with a fresh install of everything?

You'll also need to update your JomSocial, since our template socialize works perfectly fine with latest stablee release of JS. So you'll need to upgrade from 2.8.4.2 to 3.2.0.5(actually). Importing users is not necessary, simply perform the update and users in database will reamin untouched.

Well. I forgot to mention I'm on joomla 2.5.4

I was gonna update to the latest joomla 3.2

Will this be an issue if I do this?

I was thinking best to do a fresh install so I can have the same socialize template demo setup. If I did it this way can I import users then?

I think upgrading Joomla and JS to the latest version is more easy then importing users from one site to another.

Ok. Well I guess I'll try that first then.
