What is the latest version for Joomla 1.5?

The plan is to upgrade to Joomla 3.3 in a near future. Does Jomsocial supports the native translation of Joomla 3.3?

We don't support Joomla 1.5 since it's really outdated version, and it'll not work properly with out latest release. But after updating Joomla, everything should be fine.

Our JomSocial version is 2.6.1. Is that the latest JomSocial version for Joomla 1.5?

Well..This's reallyyyyy ourdated version, howver first you need to upgrade Joomla, and then try with JS, however like I said...Upgrading from such old version of JomSocial can be tricky.

My plan is to create a new site with Joomla 3 and migrate the data from the Joomla 1.5 site with jupgrade.

What bothers me is that I can't seem to be able to upgrade JomSocial on the Joomla 1.5 site to simplify the migration because it's no longer supported.

If I can't upgrade the JomSocial version on Joomla 1.5, I won't get myself into a tricky migration as you mentionned and advise our client to let it go.

So for the last time, if I renew my JomSocial subscription, will I be able to upgrade JomSocial on the Joomla 1.5 site even if it's not supported anymore?

Sure, you'll be able to upgrade..and we could give you some even advices, but issues with old JS versions are not supported :)
