Is it possible to allow JomSocial members the ability to follow other members? Following allows any member to become a friend of some other member without the approval process. For example, if a member A likes the content of member B then. Member A can click a follow button for member B and now Member A is following Member B, but Member B is not following Member A.
I would like this function in addition to user's being able to add friends.
At the moment it is not possible to do this in Jomsocial. It has been added into our uservoice as a feature request and has a lot of votes for it. I think it will be something that may be added in the future
