How do I upgrade to a new version after my subscription expires and and what are the fees involved?

After or during your subscription you can log in and click on the renew button in the My account area www.jomsocial.com/component/digistore/licenses depending on the licence you have and the time you would like to renew for it can be done for as little as $50

Basically, if I had been using Jomsocial on my site with an expired subscription, and if at some point I would like to download a new version/update, just need to renew my licence and follow the download prompts.
What about the gap between the active subscriptions, will my data be lost? will I be charged retroactively to the expiration date?

You can renew after your subscription has expired and it will add 6 months / Year what ever time you choose to your account. If your subscription expired 3 months ago and you renew today for 6 months it will add 6 months to your account from today

Hi Rami,

You can uninstall and re install jomsocial without affecting any data on your site, unless you have customized your jomsocial files this is the proffered method of upgrading So you can be confident the your data is safe.

I have attached a good document as well showing some tips on upgrading to a major version. Because i am not sure about the current version you have you may need to do a staged upgrade (version by version) This is all available to you if you have an active subscription.
