can I "ADD" a field under Profiles, that would show up under "AboutMe", this field would allow my users to copy and paste the the URL of an existing "Form" created on the site. When other users go to that users "AboutMe" page and click on that URL, it takes them to the "Form" created by that profiled member? Better yet if the program can automatically place that url when certain field under profile is created?
All i am trying to do here is link forms created by members to their profile page so other members can view. If another alternative exist please offer.
maybe you can try using our custom field.. :)
1. go to jomsocial backend -> profiles -> customize profile
2. Click new field (or maybe new group if you want separate section about this field e.g My Club Information)
3. after click new field, on name textbox you should enter the title of this field (e.g My Players)
4. on the type, you can choose URL
5. on the groups you can choose on which section this information will be shown
6. on field code textbox you can enter as example my-players as field code.. field code must be unique
7. if you want this field must be filled on registration process you can choose "Yes" on Registration field
8. if you want to make this field required just choose "Yes" on required field.. (if you choose required yes, you must choose yes too on registration field)
