hi, now i have a CB site, could someone tell me if there is a component or something for export CB users and import into a new joomla installation with jomsocial (i want to take this migration opportunity for using a fresh joomla installation)
(very important are the users photogallery and friends list)

searching for a migration component i found just old joomla 1.5 stuff


collateral question: on jomsocial when i click on like button in a profile page where in the db jomsocial store the users who clicked?

i am not aware of a tool as such, Jomsocial sits on top of the joomla user tables so the user side of it may be straight forward . But depending on what else needs converting i'm not aware of a migration tool.

For likes please look in the __community_likes table

if i add manually with some mysql queries the users in #__users table there is a way to sync jomsocial afterwards?

Running the users into the joomla table should be ok, then you will see the users in jomsocial.

i'm glade to see this method works, but i cant explain how :) where jomsocial sync its user table with joomla table #__users in this case?

now i have to figure it out how import the photogallery..
