Currently we have purchased Jomsocial 2.2.4 as a pre-emptive for one of our websites. However, after a lengthy development time, we have installed Joomla 3.2.0.

We have the following questions:
1. Is Jomsocial 2.2.4 compatible with Joomla 3.2.0?
2. If no, do we need to purchase a New or Upgrade license for the Jomsocial version compatible with Joomla 3.2.0
3. What are the payment options for the new license?
4. Do you currently provide support facilities for Joomla 3+ and if so, for how long?

Thank you for contacting us again.. well you are using very old Jomsocial version quict answer from me I suggest you upgrade your Jomsocial to the latest version as well.

1. No is not :)
2. Yes you need purchase again for the newest version
3. You can pay via CreditCard or Paypal
4. yes we support all issue on Joomla 3+ and the latest Jomsocial version, but we dont supported for the old Jomsocial version.

1. What is the main difference between the Back Link version and the non Back Link version of the product?
2. after purchase and installation of the latest jomsocial product, what upgrades (current/future) would be termed as free and others paid?

Hi Eric,

1. The back link is only available in standard edition, so if you use standard edition you will see the Jomsocial link and text in every jomsocial page, and if you use professional or developer edition you wont get back link to jomsocila there.
2. after purcased you will get free update and free support until 6 months, if you wanna get update and support after 6 months you need renewal the account.

Yes that is possible if you want upgrade it, and of course you will get the special discount then
