I have a site that will have students, staff and alumni groups in joomla. When students and staff login, they will be assigned to the student or staff group in joomla. Alumni will register and be assigned to the alumni group. This happens automatically in Joomla. I want to use jomsocial but I want those accounts to automatically be assigned to the respective groups in jomsocial. Is this possible?
I am sorry corrently Jomsocial is not supported with it, but we have the multiple profile and the behavior is almost same with Joomla group.
Anyway, you also can sycn the jomsocial multiple profile with joomla group, but for that you should hack the Jomsocial core code and hire the 3rd party dev to achive this.
