there was the jomsocial dash board and a ijoomla dash board where you
could make other changes, if i buy the $150 subscription will i get both
dash boards?

If you purchase the pro licence of Jomsocial you will be able to access the admin panel of Jomsocial, i am not sure what trial you had but a Jomsocial licence will only give you access to Jomsocial. If you could tell me the link you got the trial from i can look and see what you are referring to if you like
