1. Basically on Instant JomSocial you already have JomSocial Installed.
As for now Instant JomSocial users don't have access to FTP so transferring your existing installation will be quite hard.
Nevertheless you could install CometChat on Instant JomSocial instances.
2. Yes, you can do that as on any other JomSocial installation.
3. Yes, you always could reset user privacy settings... but users will be still able to set it again. So you'll need to apply hack to hide some privacy settings for users.
4. Yes, you can. You'll need to add A record to your domain and then set domain in Instant JomSocial control panel.
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
