hi, now i have (on another social component) a "fan system" and a "point system":
basically the users clicking on a button "became fan" in the user profile can become a fan of that user (the user earns 50 points using alphauserpoint)
in jomsocial this function could be done using "like" button: can i make an alphauserpoint rule on "Like" button in the profile page and make the user earn xx points? (i need to show all the fans in a module exactly like the friends)

again about points: can i add an AUP rule when an user add uploads a photo or videos too?

ps: another thing: i remember jomsocial doesnt allow users file upload, there are any news about that?or should i find an external plugin?

By default this is impossible, you should hack or create the plugin for that.

We havent managed to create the file upload feature, but I will try to raise this in 3.3, for 3rd party not sure already available or not, but I never seen the similiar plugins like it, I suggest you try to search it from here www.jomsocial.com/addons

I'm sorry what exactly is impossible?in the db are stored which user has clicked on each "like", right?
i just want to show those users in the profile page.
i don't mind if i need a little php script.

why such a main function like file upload isnt implemented yet in the best social joomla component?

I was mean impossible byt default, but of course can be done if you create the php code for that.
