Very interested in this product - looking at using a jomsocial template to play videos to a client - we could work out access controls for my site but not for YouTube.

Also, if I purchased this product, can I have my own URL link?

There is a template built by Jomsocial as socialize.jomsocial.com
Using this template you are getting a whole site style/layout for jomsocial.

I didn't get the point exactly. If you have purchased jomsocial and installed at your joomla site, you will get all community features and as the it is installable at your site so obviously it will be your own URL.
