We haven't purchased JomSocial yet for a new project we are doing but we have used it in the past for another. For this new client, they want similar like/view statistics on each of the videos that are uploaded on their site compared to what YouTube does for their videos (see attached screenshot). Does this functionality exist in the core software or does it exist in any known plugins for the software?

Thank you for this response! I have purchased the software and have it operational on a website. It's still in the development stages. One thing I noticed is that the Likes/Thumbs Up numbers are only available when someone is logged into their profile. My client would like these thumbs up/likes to be viewable by people just browsing the website. Is that possible with the core version of the software? Or would an extension/addon be needed?

So do you want the guests can like the content? by default this is impossilble, the only way to achive this is hack the code.

No not that unregistered guests can like/unlike photos but just so that they can see the amount of likes on a video or photo. They would still need to be registered to like/unlike. Is this something that can be configured or are there extensions that do this?

You need hack the code, please you open this file components/com_community/libraries/like.php and remove this code :

if ($userId == 0) {
            return false;
        }
