I am looking to implement JomSocial with the following features at its core - please guide whether it is possible or not
1) Users would be present in 4-5 different categories (with different profile types)
2) Users can only follow each other, join groups and discuss there but not be able to add each other as friends
3) Users would be added only once they process payments! and depending on membership type - they would have access to different details of the other user
please let me know as to what is possible and what is not!

1. yes this is possible, we have multiple profile to achive this
2. we have join group and discussion features, but for follow we dont have it.. but we have the friendship (not follower things)
3. for this you need install the 3rd party plugins like payplans or JSPT
