I want to use Jomsocial to match users to each other based on interests. The site will be for a student to find a mentor based on their 'interests', i.e. tags such as profession, sport likes, location etc.
Once users 'found' each other, we then need them to 'link up' somehow, i.e. to show that they are now paired up.
Well, the best and easy way to do it will be creating custom fields in profiles and make them searchable.
Then users could just click in their profile on certain quality to search other users that share it. Or user can built a search query in Advanced search e.g search for gender: women AND likes: sport AND lives in: Canada
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.

- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
