I'm interested in buying JomSoical as an extension to my online magazine I created with Joomla called BU-Magazine. I want to create a BU-Commuity with JomSoical, I want to know how the 'News Feeds' would work on JomSoical? I'm familiar with Facebook's News Feed, I'm wondering if it's similar to that? Will my members be able to do the following:

1. Will Feeds posting only be seen by the individuals you're friends with?
2. If yes to the 1st question, is their a public feed where members can post messages to the entire JomSoical community?

Searching/browsing:

1. Does JomSocial offer my members the ability to browse all the members of the community without being friends?

Also, my Joomla version for my magazine is 2.5.4, is that compatible with JomSoical?

Thank you for contacting us, let me answer your questions on by one :

1. we have privacy settings for this, your wall can bee seen by friend, public, registered user or only by yourself
2. You can post on the frontpage of jomsocial, or in profile page as well via sharebox feature
3. Can search all members incude friends :)
4. What magazine component are you using? I think it will compatible with Jomsocial as well... you need try it and let me know then :)
