Are these two pages are connected, and does it will update instantly?

Yes, JomSocial is wery well integrated with Facebook. For instance you can use your FB account to login to your site, also you can import the latest facebook status to your community. You can even post your JS community statuses to FB! Which is also a great feature. And the three other features are "Add Facebook Watermarks on Avatar " "Automatically Re-Import User's Profile Upon Each Login" "Automatically Re-Import User Avatar Upon Each Login"
