I am currently developing with Joomla 3.x using Rocketthemes and the Gantry Framework. I want to add JomSocial to one of my new sites. I like your Socialize template but your documentation says it runs in the T3 bootstrapped framework. Will I still be able to use JomSocial AND Socialize with a site running Gantry and Rockettheme templates?
Is T3 a "comparable" framework to Gantry? Do I need to choose between one or the other or can they co-exist?

The simplest answer would be NO, you can not use two Joomla templates at the same time, Joomla does not work that way.
You need to decide on using one... based on Gantry, or based on T3
