You may delete your most recent message for some time (you may set that time in chat settings in Backend).
But you can't delete chat or remove users from it (for now you may only add more).
But you may leave chat - just click cog icon above it:
This is how chat works - you can't delete conversation as other user will lost it. So the only way is to leave.
Thank you for your reply Michal! What about the second message when rotating the smartphone you see that the avatars or profile pictures in chatconversations in my inbox message becoming smaller or the picture disappear. See my second previous message.

This will be fixed in next version of JomSocial.
Developer provided a fix but due to many patched files I can't provide it as a separate fix.
