Sorry, but I can't understand how does ZENCODER AND AMAZON S3 INTEGRATION (my English is too bad to understand documentation).

Does it allow to:
1) store (save) video files on Amazon server
or
2) it allow to convert (upload) videos, but but still store files at my site?

the explanation its too technical. let me try explain it as simply as I can.
1. the file will be stored at your site first.
2. zencoder download the file from your site to zencoder server
3. zencoder convert the video
4. and upload it to S3

I suppose, it will keep video on AMAZON S3 only? No need to keep video in site too? So I can use AMAZON S3 as video hosting? So may be AMAZON S3 is cheeper then my server... I'll need to check. Need I pay for ZENCODER?

If later I will decide to move videos from AMAZON S3 to my site server, I will can do it easily? I can download videos from AMAZON S3? I will can change inside DataBase path to video file?

I will have to edit every video item in DataBase manualy?

Or I can use some component "DB replacer", find path "*/AMAZON S3/***" and replace it by mask to "My_site/***"?

Seems I heve to try 2 ways (uload to server and uploas to AMAZON S3) to see DB structure.

Hi,

All video file and thumb will be stored on amazon, and if you wanna put it back to your local you need dwonload the files manually and update database manually as well.
