HI there, is there any way to increase the photo upload limit from 8 to say 20?
I understand the reason this is in place is to avoid flooding of the server however we require this... If i can be pointed in the right direction please as doesn't seem to be an out of the box configuration setting.

Thanks heaps

Hi.

Thank you for contacting us.
Please, try in Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Daily limits: prntscr.com/flhc32
Or:
Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Photos -> Photo settings: prntscr.com/flhcu2

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Cheers for the fast response :) I actually need to increase the image count for a 'single photo post' rather than daily count or the image sizes. (I wasn't clear before sorry)

We are finding people are posting i.e. 10+ images but only the max 8 images with a comment (after a popup warning) are uploaded initially, so they then upload a second time with the final 2 images. This displays on the feed as 2 separate posts (as you would correctly expect).

As all the images are available in their own photo stream, they then try to 'hide' the 2nd post as they don't want double ups but instead end up hiding the stream...

So ways to improve as I see it will be to either
- increase the max image upload count (likely the easiest approach)
- allow adding extra images to the original post

Any ideas appreciated, I'll also post these ideas to the suggestion group :)

Cheers again.

HI.

There is no option to change that limitation in stream photo upload.
It's antiflood protection.
But when you upload photos straight to album, there is no 8 photo limit.
