Uploaded Videos from iPhone have wrong orientation

When I upload videos from my iPhone in portrait mode, they get rotated 90 degrees so that the video is sideways. Also if I hold my phone a certain direction in landscape mode, the video is rotated 180 degrees so the video is upside down. I want the video to appear as it appears when I play it on my phone. How do I resolve this ?

Thank you for contacting us.
Actually all video conversion is made by FFMPEG library. So it seems you'll need to adjust settings in FFMPEG library directly on your server.
Unfortunately we can't help you set FFMEPG as it's beyond our Technical Support.
Please, search the Web for documentation or contact with your hosting provider.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
