ISSUE SUMMARY:
When a user uploads a profile picture they just get the loading bar and nothing more.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 On url: poezja-sztuka.com/poezjabook.html please login to "jomsocial" account
2 Please try change avatar for account "jomsocial" (login + pass in private site information section)

I checked your site and when uploading avatar I get error:

Błąd: 435 - UnableToOpenBlob `/poezja/tmp/d63c46c3467a452298a8cd8a8550096a'
: No such file or directory @ error/blob.c/OpenBlob/2702

This seems to be related with your hosting. Please, contact with your hosting support and report this issue.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

are you sure? the previous version of JomSocial allowed to add new images only after the update does not work.

czy jesteś pewien? poprzednia wersja jomsocial pozwalała na dodawanie nowych zdjęć, dopiero po aktualizacji nie działa.

Yes, I'm sure as I can see that error in console.It may be that server has issues with current version or something changed? Just contact with your hosting provider so they could also check this - it will shed more light on that issue.

Tak, jestem pewien bo taki błąd pokazuje konsola. Być może serwer ma problemy z aktualną wersja lub się coś zmienilo? Skontaktuj się z usługodawca hostingu by mogli to sprawdzić - to rzuci więcej światła na ten problem.

Ok, dzisiaj w nocy zrobię kopię całej Joomla i spróbuje sprawdzić plik logow błedów. Pozniej zrobie aktualizacje Kunena do najnowszej wersji. Akurat jestem pracownikiem firmy, w której postawiona jest ta strona, sprawdzę tez u naszych adminów czy coś się nie zmieniło. Jeśli to nie pomoże, będę odzywał się tutaj znowu.

Ok, tonight I'll make a copy of all Joomla and attempt to check the log file errors. Later makings Kunena updates to the latest version. I'm just an employee of the company, which put this site, check also with our admins or something has changed. If this does not help, I will speak here again.

Niestety nie znalazłem przyczyny, byłbym wdzięczny za przekazanie sprawy do developerów... każde nawet naprowadzenie mnie na przyczynę bardzo mi pomoże... Odzywałem się do adminów u mnie firmie, napisali mi, że nic się na serwerach nie zmieniało. Wygląda na to, że wgrywanie avatarów powinno działać bez przeszkód.

Hi Mariusz,

For any new file inside /tmp/ folder, can you set permission 777 by default? because i uploaded new file and I always get permission 644 instead 777

Why give permissions to files 777 ?? The possibility of recording will be available for everyone? It seems to me that enough permissions 644 only as read. Are you sure about this?

that is just temporary files/ folders, and will be deleted automatically..

Please you try change the file config inside tmp to 777 by default, and let me know how it goes.. so we will know what need to do then :)
