Uploaded Video Stuck In Pending Folder

ISSUE SUMMARY:
I am having an issue with my videos that I upload not publishing sort of. I have followed the directions as best I can, did the chron job, put the path to flv2 and ffmpeg in the back end. I can even play the videos although they are in "pending" which leads me to believe they were processed but stuck in pending..

I also don't know if I need to downgrade the Joomla version 3.4.8 and I am using Jomsocial 4.2.4

Thank you for contacting us.

1. Make sure that FFMPEG is installed on your server
2. Make sure that FFMPEG path is correct
3. Contact your hosting provider and ask what version of FFMPEG is used.

Most causes of such an issues is just outdated FFMPEG installed on hosting server.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Yes FFMPEG is installed. I will ask what version.
The paths were confirmed to be correct by my hosting provider which is DreamHost.

Thanks for the reply. I am working on several projects and that is why I am late with this reply.
