Thank you for contacting us.
You can't do that in backend.
The best way to change member avatar will be to log in to frontend with Super User credentials.
Then just click on member avatar and upload new one ;)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

The frontend do not have JSmembers now. So, cannot go in

HI

I went to the Frontend, I see my photo (I am the admin), I click right or left on the photo but nothing comes up

If the JSmember is turned off, can I still update the photo from Frontend

I cannot update now, clicking on photo, nothing happen

I see that you just can't reach your profile page at frontend.
This is because you removed all menu items in JomSocial Toolbar.
This menu is used for component internal navigation - removing those items will cause navigation issues.
Now you'll need to recreate all item in this structure:

Profile
|— Change Profile Picture
|— Change Profile Video
|— Edit Profile
|— Edit Details
|— Privacy
|— Preferences
|— Customize My Page
Friends
|— Show All
|— Search
|— Advanced Search
|— Invite Friends
|— Request Sent
|— Pending my approval
Groups
Photos
Videos
Events

Once you rebuild it, you should have access to your profile and be able to change avatar.
